Racing is cancelled that was to be held on Sat 17 Sept at Hawick Moor due to the conditions of the track.  There will be no more race meetings until the 2012 season. 

A huge thank you to all for entering horses, jockeying horses, training horses & following as supporters & of course to all those committee members & sponsors that make this sport so enjoyable. 

Wishing you all the best for the winter months ahead & hope to see you all again in 2012 & new faces always welcome.

Additional rules have been passed by LHRA committee & are on the rules & regulations page but are also below for your attention:-

“17. All horses will now be photographed & the micro-chips checked against passports prior to racing.”

18.. At all times horses MUST be accompanied by a passport & if this cannot be produced when requested the horse will NOT be allowed to run.

We are always looking for people to help whether it be to help erect the track or just little jobs that will ease the pressure from others.  If you think that you can provide any of this then please contact us.

LHRA & HHRA welcome entries from as far away as Ireland & Wales. We realise that this is a long way for people & horses to travel & very time consuming, but, we hope that you will return this season once again.
