Langholm Horse Racing Association also holds some social events which are well supported.  The money that we receive from these helps to pay the Insurance for the events to take place, and the costs of railing for the course, printing of the programs and every other day costs to hold the events. Please note that no person on this committee receives any monies for carrying out their duties; it is all voluntary work - all monies given from sponsors and fundraising is spent on the actual costs to make events possible.

Tony will tell us about 1997, his 20+ years in the saddle as a winner of 1200 races as well as taking questions from the audience.

He’s Irish as well so it’s bound to be entertaining!
